So Starting from the academic session 2025, the Punjab Board of Education has increased the passing marks for 9th class exams from 33% to 40%. The total marks for 9th class 2025 Punjab boards have risen from 550 to 600 by adding 50 marks for the Quran. This means all students must now receive at least 40% marks in each subject to pass the exams. It is important to note that this new passing requirement applies to all Punjab boards and will be effective from this academic year onwards.
